A Free Color Guide to the Cafe Latte Rose

Today, I’m excited to share my most recent collaboration with Mayesh Wholesale – the Cafe Latte Rose Guide!

Mayesh is my go-to wholesaler not only for great quality and trend forward floral products, but also for their awesome flower library and educational content. We’ve partnered up a few times, most recently in their sponsorship of my Bouquet Bootcamp® Hands On workshops.

So when they asked me to help them promote the Cafe Latte rose, I knew it was a great partnership and opportunity to communicate the versatility of Cafe Latte and show designers that this bloom is so much more than it seems!

Blush and white pair stunningly with the depth and mood of mauve Cafe Latte.

As a mauve rose with a brown undertone, it pairs beautifully and naturally with tonal blooms. But, by using blooms from across all seasons, in hues that range from cool to warm, and palettes from monochromatic, to analogous, to complimentary, this rose can do some heavy lifting in so many palettes. I wanted to explore what these could look like so I created eight(!!!!!) palettes to demonstrate just how adaptable this Cafe Latte really is.

Shades of yellow strike a BEAUTIFUL balance with Cafe Latte by picking up on the lavender undertones. In this complimentary palette, opposites really do attract!
Cafe Latte works well as a cool analogous palette by embracing its violet undertones. Earthy gray/brown shades in lilac, lavender snapdragons, and mauve-pink carnations create a sophisticated combination.
Gold, gold-green, and gold-blush flowers embrace the warmth of Cafe Latte. Blue-green foliage like the dusty miller and spiral eucalyptus serves as an elevated accent to this unique palette.
Cafe Latte bridge chartreuse and plum shades in this diadic palette. This palette is found in a surprising amount of natural foliage and blooms such as antiqued hydrangea, cymbidium orchids, and begonia leaves.

I hope you enjoy the free guide!!

Warmly,

Amy
